About the Takata Airbag Recall

It has been found that after prolonged exposure to high humidity and fluctuating high temperatures, Takata airbags found in certain Mitsubishi vehicles, could degrade. Resulting in excessive pressure during airbag deployment and causing the inflator to rupture. Defective airbags may cause injury or even death during an accident of sufficient severity.
